On Wednesday we witnessed an exceptional turnout, with an impressive 83% of Year 9 students actively participating in the selection of their academic paths. The atmosphere was fantastic as students eagerly engaged with their subject teachers, immersing themselves in discussions about core subjects and the wide array of GCSE options available to them. Their enthusiasm was palpable as they carefully deliberated and ultimately made their choices, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.

Eastlea Rising Stars The Eastlea Rising Stars, a band of musical newcomers, were inspired by visiting the Barbican Centre to watch the London Symphony Orchestra perform Holst’s The Planets Footage of the concert can be found on The Music Department’s feed on X, formerly Twitter using this link

Menu Revamp from The Pantry

Ms Bhanu, Head of PSHE, has launched the PSHE newsletter which lets parents know about the topics which will be covered in PSHE each half term. You can find the most recent letter here: PSHE Spring Term 2

Our catering company, The Pantry, has launched its new menu for lunchtime.

Details of their new offer can be found here. There is a three week rotation cycle and next week will be week 2.
