This week, Year 10 attended the University of East London (UEL), to learn more about university life and help them consider their education beyond their schooling. They were able to attend taster lessons and experience the academic life for themselves A tour of the campus brought UEL to life. Students explored state-of-the-art facilities, social spaces, and different learning environments, gaining a real sense of what awaits them if they pursue a place at university. A Q&A session with student ambassadors provided invaluable insights into the realities and rewards of university life. Through interactive workshops and personalised guidance, our students began considering their future pathways, aligning their academic strengths with potential career goals. UEL's dedicated Career Support team offered valuable resources and mentorship. This is just the beginning of their journey for our Year 10s. We encourage all families to explore the many opportunities available to Year 10s to broaden their horizons by seeking opportunities to experience university life and other career paths by attending Open Days, participating in taster sessions, or connecting with student ambassadors Mr Gray, Yr10 Achievement Leader
