Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge Newham Regional Finals
Onthe30thApril2025,theJackPetcheyFoundationcarriedout theirNewhamRegionalFinalsatSarahBonnellSchool. Theevent included an impressive array of students from all parts of Newham borough. Anjum Ferdus proudly represented Eastlea CommunitySchool,deliveringapowerfulandheartfeltspeechon the need for compassion and understanding of those with autism, a topic close and personal to herself and her family.
Anjum'svoiceandstagepresencewereastandout,trulysetting the bar that all other contestants needed to follow. She was joined by her family, who proudly attended the event to show theirsupport. Anjumshowedgreatspiritandconvictionaspart of the Eastlea way.
