Sporting Success for Eastlea

Our Y8 football team played a game against Royal Docks Academy on Tuesday. The game was very competitive from both teams.Royaldocksteamscored2goalsandourteamhad0goals. None of them gave up and the game ended 3-2 win for Eastlea. Amazing effort from our students and all of them stuck together until the last minute of the game. Well done to all of them and a big well done to Ali for scoring the 3 goals.

The Eastlea girls’ netball team is top of the league following anotherfantasticwinfromtheYear10teamagainstLangdonYear 11 team, with a final score of 7:5.

Therewasanotherfantasticwin fromourunder-15girls’ football team beating ListerCommunitySchool 5-0,withahattrickfromRime.

Last but not least, here was fantastic win for the Eastlea rowing team in the London Youth Rowing Newham Competition. There werewinsfor Emanuela,Yr8,Oliver,Yr9,Rywius andRime,Yr10. Eastlea also won their relay races. Ms Bland, Head of PE

End of Term Awards Ceremonies

The end of term Awards assemblies have been a wonderful celebration of the incredible efforts and achievements of our students throughout the past term. The assemblies recognised students for their hardwork,dedication,andexceptionalperformancein thebreadthofsubjectswehaveonofferatEastlea.We aresoproudofourstudents’commitmenttolearning and the outstanding contributions made in and outside the classroom.
