On Thursday 20th March, five of our Year 7 Students went to Sarah Bonnell School to take part in the NCL Trust's Poetry by Heart competition. Leonor, Janira, Maira, Genesis, and Tahera delivered a flawless choral reading of Tell Me, Tell Me, Sarah Jane, spicing it up at the end with some canon reading. Our students were absolute role models throughout, performing to a large audience consisting of their peers, their teachers, parents, and a lot of notable figures in the NCL community. They left making active plans on how to outperform the very cute primary school students next year. Well done! Mr Clay, Acting Head of English
Curiosity Club Showcase On Thursday 20th March, twenty students from years 7, 8 and 9 presented the Curiosity Club Showcase. Students have been working diligently on projects related to the question 'what do we owe the people of the past?' We had topics varying from the suffragettes, computing, the romans, fashion to famous role models. The students did really well and it was great to have parents/guests to appreciate the hard work they have put in. Well done! Mr Eddy, English Teacher/Scholars Programme Coordinator
