CHAPLAINCY On Sunday 27 January, Brentwood Cathedral are celebrating Education Day by highlighting the importance of a Catholic education in our Diocese. They would like to invite students and teachers, who are parishioners of Brentwood Cathedral, to a special Mass on Sunday 27 January at 9.30am. It would be appreciated if students who wish to attend could wear school uniform.
Sadly, this week, we were also remembering Ivy Brewster, Sid’s sister, who also used to attend the group and passed away earlier this month.
NHVS From Mrs Wilson, NHVS Secretary The Wilderness group fell foul to the icy weather this week, but the other NHVS groups were back in full swing after the Christmas break.
MUSIC FORMER STUDENTS' SINGING CAREER TAKES OFF Kayleigh McEvoy, a former New Hall student, has been offered places to study singing at three of the UK’s leading conservatories. She is currently choosing between Royal College, Guildhall and Welsh College. We look forward to watching her promising career develop.
Sid Brewster, aged 88, and his wife, June, have been coming to Tuesday Tuck-In for three years. Sid, from Boreham, worked for the neighbouring Fordson Estates for 32 years as a carpenter with the maintenance team. He was telling us this week about
