Spring 2025

Welcome Back

It is always a happy time for us welcoming you back, as your presence brings the park back to life. In your absence, we’ve been very busy. The park team have carried out some major improvements. Significantly:

• The main entry has been redeveloped and landscaped to provide a WOW factor

• Work continues on the Circular Walk that, once completed, will be 3.91km long – with sensory attractions for children’s education & rest stops with information boards

• The super service pitches have been upgraded, including privacy screens to add a luxury feel

• Our entertainment has been a major focus this year – with Laura & Jack creating a stimulating series of activities & events for your enjoyment

I wish you all a great season and enjoy Forest Park.

Having won the national David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation for the past 22 years, we are thrilled to add an international accolade!

We’ve earned the Bronze Award in ‘Best Annual Always-On Content Strategy’ at the International Content Marketing Awards –putting us on the global map with huge global brands such as Nikon, HSBC and Eurostar.

Around the Park

Hardstanding Driveways

Take advantage of our great new offering and have an eco-friendly, hardstanding driveway installed on your plot.

After your driveway area has been dug out, Type 1 granite hardcore is laid down and rolled in before being topped with eco-friendly green grids. Refined topsoil with a high volume of grass seed is then brushed in, leaving you with a driveway level with the surrounding grounds.

Comfort Stations

We have undertaken significant improvements to the tourer shower/ toilet and laundry areas.

Our laundry areas now include stacker washing and drying machines – and

The benefits:

• Our ride-on mowers can cut the grass safely and easily

• Hardstanding for year-round use

• Car drives on and off easily without getting stuck

• Clean surface that improves plot appearance, ensuring it’s in keeping with park standards

Interest-free payments available. Please see the team for further details.

a TV and book swap zone so you can relax while you do your washing.

The shower blocks have also been upgraded with cushioned Altro flooring for improved comfort and hygiene.

Glamping pods

Our Glamping pods have all had additional decking extensions and privacy screens for a more personal experience.

WiFi

As the park continues to invest in our infrastructure, we are pleased to announce we now have park-wide WiFi that will ensure your connectivity.

This has been a major undertaking which we hope you enjoy.

Simpler Recycling

Taking effect in England as of 31st March 2025, the new Simpler Recycling legislation aims to standardise waste collection across the country, ensuring a more consistent approach for businesses – such as touring and holiday parks – when managing waste disposal.

Under the new rules, businesses will be able to separate waste into streams using four containers:

1. Food waste (mixed with garden waste if appropriate)

2. Paper and card

3. All other dry recyclable materials, including plastic, metal, and glass

4. Residual (non-recyclable) waste

We will have our bin bays signed appropriately. Those that don’t abide by these rules will be fined, so we must ask that all residents please comply.
