Day of Caring is all about giving back. There’s nothing quite like making a difference in people’s lives, especially those in your own neighborhood. Those who have been involved with United Way of Windham County’s Day of Caring know first-hand the joy that volunteering can bring to not only themselves, but others around. Past volunteers have prided themselves on the hard-work they completed, saying, “Great team! Everyone worked very hard – doing some not glamorous jobs.” Another Day of Caring volunteer says, “This is one of the many ways United Way helps the community and it was a tremendous boost to our preparation for our fundraiser this fall. The volunteers are remarkable.” Something that is so spectacular about these volunteer responses is the level of joy, and feeling of accomplishment, from the tough work they provide during Day of Caring, even if they are getting their hands dirty in the process.

Thank you to all our volunteers We couldn’t do it without YOU!
