Highlights will include how Mass Audubon is managing a portion of this sanctuary for the uncommon New England cottontail and a walk down to Richardson Brook. Enjoy the mixed hardwood, hemlock and white pine forest which includes impressive examples of various tree species. We will look for salamanders in the brook, identify wildflowers and should hear and see various bird species. Bring your binoculars, trail snacks and water and wear suitable footwear.
