Housatonic & Great Barrington Needs YOU NOW! Our Community is under attack – we need your voices NOW! Fulcrum proposes 58,500 sq. ft. marijuana growing facility and 5,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility at 22 Van Deusenville Road It will affect YOU and this is how:

Fulcrum proposes to build this industrial facility across the road from families with young children and Senior Citizens

The facility WILL consume 2.5+ million gallons of water a year

•

Fulcrum has NOT demonstrated this volume of uncontained water will not leach pollutants into the Housatonic River

•

The facility WILL be using volatile chemicals to process the THC and CBD Oils

•

Fulcrum’s odor control WILL NOT work according to the town’s study so the facility will produce significant odor when the plants are in bloom.

•

Fulcrum has NOT demonstrated the facility will not produce significant noise due to the multiple industrial fans used to vent the greenhouses

•

The facility will produce no more than 3 year-round jobs (for locals?) plus 1 of the Fulcrum principals

•

Our property values WILL go down and the property taxes for this facility are only around $15,000

•

Fulcrum recently reduced the size of the growing facility but if a special permit is granted by our Select Board, the size of the project can be subsequently increased.

This is NOT a light industrial facility and should be located in a proper industrial area used to dealing with odor, noise and hazardous chemicals, not across the road from young families with children and our Senior Citizens!
