Reg Loving and Aaron Karp have known each other since 1979. They often spent time together during the 1980s and 1990s, a vibrant period in the New Mexico arts scene. In their frequent conversations they had numerous and formative discussions about art and life. Over the years, they often showed their work in the same galleries, including Janus Gallery in Santa Fe, Sebastian-Moore and Robischon Galleries in Denver, and PM & Stein in New York. As one of the first artists to join New Concept Gallery, Reg Loving was instrumental in bringing Aaron Karp into our family of artists.
