Rogue One

Monday, 9GO!, 8.30pm, M (2016)

The first standalone Star Wars movie from Disney and Lucasfilm, the action takes place before the events of A New Hope, and tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. Starring Felicity Jones (pictured) and Ben Mendelsohn, this film goes into new territory as it explores the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective.

Friday

pick of the week Bowling For Columbine Michael Moore (pictured) is behind this profoundly disturbing documentary, unearthing the awful truth behind one of the most serious social issues affecting the US: guns. Using the Columbine High School massacre as a focal point of his research, the tubby everyman traces America’s firearm follies through scrutinising the media, corporations and various celebrities.
