This premiere production is the first for Live Theatre from this artistic team: Mike Packer is the writer of the hit comedy The Dysfunckshonalz! (soon to be a feature film and set to open shortly in the West End). Lisa Goldman is the former Artistic Director of The Soho Theatre and new writing company The Red Room.

Local actress Melanie Hill (Joe Maddison’s War, Bread & Auf Wiedersehen Pet) will be taking to the stage alongside David Hargreaves (Pub Quiz is Life, On the Shore of the Wide World & RSC) who plays the lead role of Harry. Harry’s sons are played by Matthew Wait (Casualty) and Steven Hillman (Emmerdale). The family is completed by Martina Laird (Casualty & RSC).

Meet the Writer and Director Join Max Roberts, Artistic Director at Live Theatre, writer Mike Packer and director Lisa Goldman and take the opportunity to ask questions about the production and the inspiration for the play.

Meet the Cast Join director Lisa Goldman and members from the cast as they talk about the process of bringing Mike’s play to life. They will also be answering questions from the audience.
