New Folks Move In Avery Collins Jr. Supervisor Over the past weeks, Newcaster has welcomed a striking wave of new residents, with officials attributing the sudden growth to sweeping changes approved earlier this year. Infrastructure projects, renovations, and increase in residential buildings have reshaped the town’s landscape. “We’re witnessing a turning point!” affirmed councilman Rudolph Bomovich, alongside Ahna M. Talaat. Local businesses have already begun to feel the impact. Marlin's employees report longer lines and construction crews work late into the evening.

Antony Wrecks Music Store Erich Whitlam Editor-in-Chief
Governor Antony destroyed a better part of the Music Boutique after bumping into one of the walls that resulted in a major structural collapse. According to two witnesses, what occurred was that the Governor wished to return a new ukulele, to which the store owner, Ermolai Pavlykovic (commonly known as ‘Pav’) allowed him to pick another one from the storage closet. But upon finding that the storage door refused to budge open, the Governor allegedly started slamming his own body weight against the door. This movement resulted in a partial collapse of the entire building. “That cake-stealing tub-oflard somehow broke one of them structural beams and tore the building down — saw the whole thing,” said Noah Whitefield, who was present.
Ten minutes later, the Sheriff and Fire Department arrived, to where the entire building asundered. Fortunately, there were no casualities or injuries as everybody managed to evacuate. ALL OUT: Renovations Across Town Avery Collins Jr. Supervisor New construction projects, sweeping street improvements, and widespread renovations are now underway across Newcaster following the recent financial support granted to the town council by the state Governor Antony. The additional funding has allowed the council to begin recently planned infrastructure updates that officials say will modernize the town while improving safety and accessibility for residents. Crews have already begun work on several streets, where major resurfacing and layout changes are taking place to accommodate better traffic flow and pedestrian areas. Beyond the roads, construction teams are moving quickly on a number of structural projects. Older buildings throughout the town are being renovated, while new structures are begin-
ning to rise in areas that have remained unused for quite a long time. Officials say these developments are meant to stimulate local business activity and prepare Newcaster for long-term growth.
Fire Nearby !! Leaves Three Orphans Avery Collins Jr. Supervisor A devastating house fire in a neighboring town, Michilimack, has left three children orphaned after the blaze claimed the lives of their parents earlier this week. Authorities say the fire broke out late in the evening and quickly spread through the family’s home before emergency crews could contain it. The surviving children, siblings from the Baudelaire family were not inside the house at the time of the incident. Officials confirmed they are now under temporary guardianship while arrangements are made for their long-term care. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire, though early reports suggest it may have started accidentally. The tragedy has drawn sympathy from residents across the area, many wishing the children the best.

OVERVIEW The Hungry Wolf is a food trailer. They sell burger’s, fries, onion rings, and of course their signature chili cheese dog. The food trailer is located often downtown, it is a one man show, being run by, a younger gentleman, never did catch his name. Out of everything I tried, the chili cheese dog was truly exceptional, here’s my analysis: QUALITY I only rated the quality on the lower end, due to the fact that the chili clearly came from a can, I don’t fault the business owner on this though, however, the hotdog buns were fluffy, the meat was cooked through, and nothing was expired, so that earns them three points, plus he often kept himself clean, washing hands, so that earns him a few more points. However, I did notice a messy
counter, and a cluttered workspace, sadly that deprives him of full points. TASTE The tase on the other hand, was exquisite, delectable. The chili had notes of cayenne, garlic, and a slight sweetness, underneath the heat. The cheese, a mix of shredded Sharp Cheddar, Gouda, Havarti, Maybe more, added a soft sharpness too it, that cut through the heat, plus the salty hotdog, and fluffy
bun, paired perfectly with it. I highly recommend it, words cannot express how good it was. ENVIRONMENT The whole experience was like a backyard barbecue with family, as a child. It had a nostalgic warmth. Plus the friendly atmosphere and smells, brought back a flood of memories from my youth, that I remember fondly. It overall was very calm, pleasant, and inviting. I will definitely recommend you trying out the chili cheese dog for yourself.

While walking around, a NT journalist happened to see two military trucks all of a sudden parked outside the grocery store. Upon approaching, he interviewed the re-enactors, dressed in American World War 2 kit, what the trucks were for. The first person said he was a recruit, explaining that the trucks were simply for transporting supplies to a nearby base. Then his supervisor approached, elaborating that it was for supplies for recent storm. It is unknown as to whether the interviewees are genuine or that they were incharacter with their reenactment, but these military trucks are nonetheless a unique sighting within Newcaster.

Governor Antony — a well known and recognized figure across Michigan — was spotted at the graveyard with the alleged, notorious mob boss Di Pappalardo of the Pappalardo crime family. This sighting comes after much questions have been raised as to the Governor’s connections to criminal organizations. The two men were reportedly mourning the death of Adam Conagher, an individual with alleged ties to multiple organized crime groups and street gangs across the state. Journalist The Newcaster Police Department announced that they had caught the “Suitcase Killer,” a deranged man who took the lives of four people. After conducting a sting operation, the NPD was able to apprehend the killer, said to be a former veteran who betrayed their oath. Thankfully, upon having announced his arrest, the Criminal Investigation Division announces that they have “zero active investigations” going on, letting the people of Newcaster a sigh of relief that a sick man is finally off our streets.

But it’s apart of a larger story in America, and developed Northern Hemisphere nations, where the internet and video games are causing increased violence. And although the argument was over a girl, both teenagers frequently play video games, and that could be a reason for the unhinged attitude they had when attacking each other. In a file by the Education Resources Information Center last year, the agency wrote, "A research review done by NCTV (1990) found that 9 of 12 research studies of violent video games on normal and adolescent children reported harmful affects." But, the US government and Clinton Administration have already taken action to prevent these increases in violence in the youth. The 1994 Video Game Ratings Act was a huge success for evangelists and strict parents across the nation, recruiting companies to be given ratings based on maturity and who can consume the video game content. So, is content restriction and censorship the only answer?
BCSO and EMS officials arrived to 1 Middle Avenue on March 17 to see that 2 teenagers were injured, both involved in the altercation. Bubba M., told NT News that the two teenagers got into an argument over a girl who wasn’t at the location when police and NT arrived, but regardless, the argument seemed to escalate after the fact. Darren, involved in the fight, was the main escalator although he was also injured. Eyewitnesses said that he reportedly pulled out a weapon. We were able to interview Darren’s father and Chrissy, the sister of the second teenager. Dominic, father of Darren told us that Darren was indeed a troublemaker in school, and he did not permit the son’s usage of the gun, and he did not know he had taken it. Although some perspectives didn’t match up, and contradicted others, what NT did see was both of the teenagers being injured by each other. In contrast, Duval, a lifelong resident of Newcaster, praised new developments around town. “I’ve lived in this town my whole life, and honestly, it’s just plain good to finally see some real work being done on these streets,”said Duval. “It’s about time someone started rebuilding this area instead of just talking about it.” Though most residents have welcomed the transformtion of Newcaster’s landscape, perhaps we should reconsider how we can change our town spirit in letting folks like Vincent feel more like at home.

A New Amasa Fanclub? J.W.W.

Looks like Amasa Walker has found his long-lost homeless counterpart! Strangely enough, our local stereotypical Southerner seems to have gathered a fanclub of his own. Recently, on March 13, Amasa and “Homelessasa” was seen together hanging out at the National Park, bonding over each others’ southern background. This comes after another copycat was spotted downtown, sporting the same pickup truck and fashion sense as Amasa Walker (Vol 5. Issue 83). Despite this, Amasa denies any association with these supposed “fans.”
In trying to get to the bottom of this trend, an associate of our paper reached to Amasa Walker, to which he alleges that this was all a part of a grand conspiracy to “chase all Texans away” out of a hate for Southerners.
“I know some of these folks don’t like Southerners,” Amasa claims. “I think he’s like the very other folks in this town who hates Texans.” When pressed as to the identities who these folks were, Amasa refused to elaborate
only vaguely saying that it was “either the [police department] or the township council.” Amasa has stated that all of these shenanigans about him have taken a personal toll on him. “I just want to run away,” he stated. The identity of the impersonator himself remains a mystery, as it could be quite possible that he is an actual crazed homeless man. Who knows?
