Tiffany Haddish Performance Tiffany will be joining us for a virtual conversation with Peter Tilden, an Emmy-nominated screen writer. You won’t want to miss this special comedic performance!

Program Ends...Goodnight! Tiffany Haddish is a comedian, actress, and producer who has starred in many shows and films. In November of 2017, she made history by becoming the first black female standup comedian to host Saturday Night Live. In addition to her extraordinary comedic talent, Tiffany is a recognized author of The Last Black Unicorn, where she shares her story. Tiffany’s experience in the foster care system led to her resolve to do everything in her power to make sure kids know their worth—even during challenging transitions.

MEET ALEX... Since coming to New Avenues first as a youth, Alex is now inspiring the young people he works with to do what they love. Using his skills as a barber and his passion for helping people, Alex is able to connect with the youth in ways that have a lasting and positive impact. “Do something you love and never work a day in your life!” - Alex
MEET SPENSER... “At one point in my life, I stopped believing in my own potential. I told myself that I deserved to be homeless, and I was convinced I was a bad person. It wasn’t until I got to New Avenues that I realized I was wrong. I was not helpless; I was just afraid to try and afraid to fail. The staff at New Avenues for Youth saved my life, as they saw potential where I saw failures. They helped me build myself back up and believed in me when I felt like no one else did. I am so proud to be a member of this organization.”
New Avenues for Youth is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness. Since 1997, our programs and services have impacted more than 20,000 young people as they work to overcome barriers, pursue their goals, and realize their potential.
