Why Choose Us?

OUR STORY New Age Engineering Solutions began its journey in 2003, operating from an office garage in Secunda, Mpumalanga. In our early years, we provided consumable supplies, welding engineering, and quality assurance consultancy. As client needs evolved, so did we. What began as a welding-focused business has grown into a comprehensive SMEIP (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Piping) partner, supporting industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, power generation, and bulk water infrastructure. Our role is straightforward: to help clients reduce downtime, lower the total cost of ownership, and deliver value where it matters most. Over time, we expanded our capabilities and built long-term relationships, including securing our first major maintenance contract with Sasol in 2014. This marked a turning point, positioning us as a trusted partner in complex industrial environments.

GROWING ACROSS INDUSTRIES AND REGIONS Today, as a subsidiary of CG Tech, New Age forms part of a broader network of specialised companies. This strengthens our ability to draw on additional expertise, scale our delivery, and respond to complex challenges, not only in South Africa, but across Africa and beyond. We have also extended our footprint across South Africa, from Secunda to Sasolburg, Cape Town, and beyond, supporting clients such as Sasol, Eskom, Natref, Omnia, Safripol, Megchem, Astron Energy and Rand Water. We believe in building capability where we operate. Through our training programmes, we equip young people with practical, on-site experience — contributing to a skilled local workforce while supporting the long-term sustainability of the industries we serve. This approach enables us to deliver consistent results, safely and in partnership with our clients. With our teams on-site, our clients can focus on their operations, knowing the work is in capable hands.
