Under the direct supervision of the Chief Operator/ Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs, but not limited to, day-to-day maintenance of water lines, meters, valves, hydrants, etc. 1.Assist with installation of new water line (stringing pipe, putting the pipe together). 2. Assist with repairing main lines, service lines, meters, valves, etc. 3. Required to obtain a "D" Water Operator's Certification through Missouri Department of Natural Resources. 4. Required to obtain a Class III Treatment license through Missouri Department of Natural Resources. 5. Required to obtain a Class "A" CDL. 6. Required to work in all weather conditions. 7. Required to be in the "on-call" rotation for after hours or emergency water problems. 8. Position requires some overtime - after hours and weekends, when needed. 9. Must have the ability to read electronic maps and follow directions. 10. Must have a telephone and dependable transportation. 11. Backhoe, trencher, mini-excavator, skidsteer experience a plus, but not required. 12. Capable of lifting 50lbs. 13. Pass a drug test before and during employment.
