WHAT IS NEUROBLASTOMA? • Aggressive cancer that affects kids age 0-5 • #1 cause of cancer deaths in children up to age 5 • Survival rate is just 50% for aggressive Neuroblastoma • Treatment is invasive and often damaging • Impacts not just families but whole communities, regardless of outcome • Only 10% of Government cancer research budget goes to kids cancer research, with 90% going to adult cancer research

NEUROBLASTOMA AUSTRALIA Founded in 2012, Neuroblastoma Australia has 3 goals: 1. To educate and raise awareness about Neuroblastoma 2. To raise much needed funds for research into less aggressive, more effective treatments 3. To build a NB community that celebrates the courage and love displayed by kids and families living with Neuroblastoma, and those willing to help.

WHAT’S NEW IN 2023 • Run2Cure’s 10th birthday • Cash prizes for 10K competitve event • Attracting top ranked 10K runners to maximise media and club runner’s attention • Will be developing the event both in Sydney and interstate, with a 4 state series by 2024 • Q3/Q4 2023 will be launching Run2Cure in Victoria or Queensland (TBC over coming weeks)
