THE MISSION OF SMILES FOR EVERYONE FOUNDATION (SFEF) To provide free dental care to those in greatest need, both domestically and globally. We strive to find partners who share our vision of aiding those in need and collaborate with them to deliver dental care to those who lack access to it.

DELIVERING SMILES FOR EVERYONE The Smiles for Everyone Foundation was established in 2005

by Smile Brands, Inc. the largest dental service provider in the US. The foundation is dedicated to extending its "Smiles for Everyone" vision to underserved areas worldwide through a unique international model of creating International Outposts, which are supported by the foundation.

The foundation currently operates seven International Outposts in Kumasi, Ghana; Asuncion, Paraguay; Nicaragua; Tijuana, Mexico; Davao, Philippines; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Vientiane, Laos to continue the philanthropic work that Smile Brands initiated, making Smiles for Everyone Foundation the largest not-for-profit provider of dental care around the world.

OUR MODEL WORKING TOGETHER...

The partnership starts with a visit from the Smiles for Everyone Foundation, where they meet and collaborate with an existing NGO which has committed to serving people in their country. Together, we establish an International Outpost that provides ongoing dental outreaches to those in need.

Smiles for Everyone Foundation donate a complete set of portable equipment and necessary supplies for dental outreach to the International Outpost. Additionally, the foundation will provide quarterly financial support to ensure that expenses related to dental outreaches are covered.

Our partnered NGO's are challenged to establish partnerships with local corporations, governments, local and national leaders to strengthen effectiveness and relationships within the community they serve.

During an outpost visit to Thailand, our team had to travel by local boat and elephant in order to reach the remote villages. Elephants were used to carry all the supplies and equipment to offer 2 people living in the area. dental services to Thai

Our team in Paraguay utilizes air transportation to reach remote areas where dental care is needed.

Local bush pilots are hired for this purpose. In some cases, the team also travels by donkey to carry the necessary dental equipment to the site.

Our team in the Philippines, with assistance from the national military, employs military 4x4 vehicles to access hard-to-reach tribal areas in Mindanao and Davao. The presence of the military offering practical aid helps to build trust within local villages, particularly in areas known for guerrilla warfare.

Our outpost in Ghana, with the endorsement of royalty, aims to expand dental services annually to reach all tribal and local villages in Ghana. In the past year, the King's grandsons have become involved in the work of the foundation. In 2023, the King invited the Smiles for Everyone Foundation to Ghana to celebrate the incredible work being done.

OUR FUTURE VISION

The Smiles for Everyone Foundation has a Five-Year Plan to expand the number of International Outposts from six to twelve, serving 100,000 patients per year, with the support of local governments, military and health authorities. In January 2023, the foundation launched its latest outpost in the Philippines and plans to launch the next outpost in Kenya by July 2023, with an additional two outposts on the African continent planned.

In 2022, the Ghana Smiles for Everyone Outpost increased confidence among Ghanaian children. The lead dentist, Dr. Esther Mark, shared that many children in their outreaches would not speak during class in their schools because they were embarrassed by their teeth.

Our teams were able to treat these children and educate them on proper oral hygiene and health.

Many children now have the confidence to speak in class because of their healthy smiles and can now walk into their classroom with smiles on.

Shirley's missing front teeth left her feeling embarrassed and insecure. Each morning, she would use nail glue to affix teeth to her prosthetic, longing for a permanent solution, so she could welcome clients into her beauty salon with a warm smile. One day, Shirley came to our Smiles for Everyone Foundation Paraguay dental clinic, where our team gave her a brand-new, permanent smile.

This transformation had a profound impact on Shirley's self-esteem and confidence, which began to shine through in every aspect of her life.

Through her bravery and our dedication, Shirley's dignity has been restored, and her beautiful smile is here to stay.

Her story is echoed all over the world, as we continue to restore the smiles of people like Shirley.

Sourcing dental sealants in countries like Ghana has proven challenging due to supply chain disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Even when available, sealants are often very expensive, as they are in high demand and a valuable product in the dental industry.
