A NOTE FROM JOHN & LISA

Kabod International was birthed 5 years ago after plowing the ground in Belize for 14 years With a vision to see individuals and families healed and whole, to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves, and partner with heaven to see a nation step into her fullness “A Fathered Nation”.

Today our family and leadership programs have grown to impact people in every district of Belize and leaders from 23 nations This month we are launching our Family Media initiative airing A Miracle Every Day, (a daily devotional) and a weekly pod cast “The Man Show” on the most listen to radio station in Belize strengthening men, women and family, bringing hope into every home.

We look back in awe of all He has done. As we Look forward with great expectancy of what is to come!

OUR VISION: to see Belize step into her destiny as A Fathered Nation

Belize is a developing nation in Central America. Family Structure is fragile, with 75% of homes being Fatherless.

Fatherlessness has left a generation wounded, abandoned, and hopeless.

Every generation of the family is affected by this trauma. Many individuals struggle to establish healthy families as they try to process their childhood trauma, which continues this broken cycle.

We are committed to seeing Belize step into her identity as "A Fathered Nation," creating a hopeful future for generations.

A STORY OF hope & HEALING

We had an amazing team of women come to help minister to women and children. Their leader asked our team to minister to them, teaching them how to hear the Voice of God, encounter His sweet presence, and to walk them through some deep wounds.

God met them right were they were at! These beautiful women left HEALED & WHOLE of various traumas from abandonment, verbal & sexual abuse, PTSD, and more. We saw trauma healed and hearts restored.

One young lady was brought BACK to LIFE right before our eyes! From insecurity and depression to boldness and joy as the Lord brought truth to the lies spoken over her All her life her grandmother would constantly ridicule her, telling her she was ugly, and that she didn’t love her We were able to walk her through forgiveness

After arriving home she shared a testimony of even more healing Her grandmother was sick in the hospital and she was able to go and pray for her

"Before I left, I placed my hands on her head and heart I felt darkness and loneliness I prayed for her, and I felt that darkness leaving her body”

I continued to pray for her healing and health. I saw her shaking and feeling the Holy Spirit inside of her. I almost started to laugh with joy.

"I feel healed! She asked me to forgive her for all the mean things she said! She wouldn't stop calling me beautiful and telling me she loves me."

THE FIGHT FOR JUSTICE

Our organization is working closely with a government agency, to help in the procedures and process of rescue to recovery. In order to assure a future and and hope for those being rescued from Human Trafficking

Our House of Hope and Healing, or H3 is a safe place for victims of human trafficking to come and be restored

“The safe house is more than just a safe house. In reality, it’s an act of mercy and kindness for abused young women. And hopefully it will keep taking people in and will grow larger and larger as time goes on, and will act like a revolving door where people are taken care of and made whole to go off into the world and live a normal life”.

Liz's Story

Liz has been involved in many of our family programs throughout the years! We met her and her family through our Women's conference’s, she’s now part our school of ministry. We have contended with her for family and been able to see many miracles!

This Year we have seen:

Miracle of Restoration: At our recent Women's Conference, Liz's mother and aunt's relationship was restored after not speaking for 10 years!

Miracle of Salvation: After years of praying alongside Liz for her children, this summer Liz's children, sons-in-laws, and uncle were baptized together after accepting Jesus into their hearts!

A FUTURE FOR FATHERS

The success of our Band of Brothers conferences has been incredible. Since launching Band of Brothers Belize in 2018 we have seen tremendous growth and expansion! We have developed 2 leadership teams in southern and central Belize! Our most recent event opened the door to the Northern Districts!

LEADERSHIP & SUSTAINABILITY

At our most recent conference we saw lives restored at the altar call, where 24 men came forward. The crowd was full of men from many walks of life. There were crypts, bloods, Rasta guys, soldiers, church folk, etc. What a beautiful picture!

From all the testimonies, 4 Business men and a community asked us help develop a Band of Brothers leadership team in the North, creating a new program that will take troubled men and teach them how to be better men and better fathers through leadership & farming, creating a sustainable future for Kabod and for the Fathers of Belize.
