Wood is a natural product that lives and breathes. Every tree is unique, which means that wood and veneers naturally exhibit variations in color and grain. These characteristics are what give this material its charm, but they also entail certain limitations.
Through careful material selection and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods, we always strive to achieve the highest quality. Nevertheless, this natural product may still exhibit color variations and growth-related irregularities.
Veneer patterns vary from sheet to sheet depending on the cut and wood species. In general, wood types are only conditionally color-stable and may undergo color changes over time. These color changes are influenced by the following factors: UV light (natural light source), oxygen, heat, and chemicals.
Surface treatments such as lacquering, glazing, or staining can reduce color changes over time but cannot completely prevent them. These variations are not grounds for complaints but are characteristic features of a natural product.
