CREATING BEAUTIFUL BEDROOMS FOR CHILDREN TO THRIVE

Room for a Child is a registered non-profit organization established in 2012. We create beautiful bedrooms for children in need. We do this with donated furniture and decor items, plus volunteer labour. There is no charge to our recipient families. Children are referred to our organization by school principals, social workers, settlement workers and public health nurses in Durham Region, York Region and Toronto.

We believe every child deserves to live in a calm, attractive space and sleep in a warm, comfortable bed. Our wonderful volunteers work together to make that happen, every time.
