Trauma Sensitive We understand, anticipate, and respond to the needs of those who have experienced trauma, by providing a comforting and safe treatment environment, promoting self empowerment of the client. Cultural Awareness and Relevancy We understand and address the role of race and implicit biases; how these can affect client and staff behaviors, attitudes, and responses; and how these can impact staff interactions with clients and with each other.

MESSAGE FROM LEADERSHIP In last year’s report, I wrote to you about changes we learned would be coming to our Crisis Intervention program. While we intended to continue this program until Franklin County’s new crisis center opens in later 2024 or early 2025, rapidly changing workforce dynamics meant we had to make the tough choice to end this program in 2022 instead. What that adversity did, though, was give us the opportunity to jumpstart the planning we’d done in preparation for this change. 2022 came to see the start of a SAMHSA-funded Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), our CSU being opened to referrals from all crisis providers in Franklin County, and the inauguration of both our Community Mobile Team and 988 provider services— among other changes. Just as our world spent much of 2022 coming out of the COVID pandemic, Netcare spent it coming out of adversity and toward our next iteration of caring for some of our community’s most vulnerable. Please read on for more information.
