Finding Common Ground
ANGEL THERAPY by Maureen Mann
This channeled guidance was provided to me in preparation for my “Angel Therapy — BeLive” October 29 broadcast. My intention had been to ask Archangel Raguel for guidance on how to find common ground to heal the current state of the world.

I had identified Archangel Raguel due to his specialties in relationship harmony and justice. As I opened myself up in meditation, I felt Archangels Jeremiel and Christiel also join in the transmission. Archangel Jeremiel assists us when we are at a crossroads in life, determining our choices with an appreciation for where we have been that led us to our current circumstances. Archangel Christiel carries the Christ light and is associated with the fifth dimensional Causal Chakra. Below are the healing messages they provided.
In order to find common ground you need to know who you are and what you stand for. The world is comprised right now of people who are clearer on what they do not like or want rather than what they desire. Whichever of these thoughts are stronger — what you are for or against — will manifest. To shift the energy toward unity, people need to find unification and harmony within their energy bodies first. It is not enough to simply identify what it is you wish to see in your world. You must feel it and have faith enough to believe it is possible.
Realize it is easier to be a cynic than a believer. This is due to the climate around you. You are surrounded by news outlets which perpetuate negativity and fear, and that has become the default mindset. People engage in conversation more readily about what is wrong with the world or with another person than it does about what they appreciate. It takes courage and strength to question and challenge this.
You think that as you age it is wise to be cynical and distrusting. How is that so? If you have been practicing gratitude and open to the miracles of your everyday life you would see that having the vision of a child is more accurate. Anything can happen. But only if you can hold the mental space and heart space for that to be a possibility. If you tell yourself your world will be strife with division until eternity, you are correct because that is the evidence you will find. If, however, you tell yourself humanity cares for one another and we are making improvements every day in science, technology, quantum mechanics, and human rights, you will see that evidenced.
To what do you subscribe? We ask you this not only in the form of magazines, newspapers, and apps, but also in belief systems. Whatever you subscribe to will dictate the lens through which you see the world and experience its corresponding reality.
Be mindful of your thoughts. Be mindful of how you respond to others who hold differing views to yours. If you meet someone new, do you filter your awareness to notice what is similar about you or different? In order to find common ground, you need to challenge yourself to start seeing more of the similarities. The more you seek to confirm differences, the more divided you will be as a nation.
Your country has the potential to be a beautiful place of existence for its inhabitants. That requires first that each person’s reality is honored. You are minimally aware of what is needed. Your ego will tell you otherwise, and quote facts and figures to argue your position. Your heart is blind. It feels the truth of the connection between you all. It reminds you that you are not only connected to people but to nature. Everything is connected in reality. It is time to expand your awareness, to challenge the small-minded ego which wants certainty and predictability by sorting people into good/bad, right/wrong.

If this is challenging to you, we ask you to remember what you judge in another is an unhealed aspect of yourself. The more you condemn another, the more you align yourself with that quality you despise. It then remains unhealed within you and clouds your perceptions. What you judge shields the light. Common ground can only be found when there is more light than darkness.
This is within your power. You hold the capability to bring as much light as is needed for what you are here to do. You have a choice of how to think, what to feel, and what you speak. Your thoughts as well as those of the other 7 billion people on your planet are all coalescing creating your reality.
Ask us to shine light on the darkness within and around you. We are here to aid in the unification of the society of which you are a part and serve. Let us aid you. You have chosen to incarnate at a difficult time for the purpose of your own and humanity’s evolution. How are you contributing to that? By perpetuating more hatred and division or by practicing gratitude and holding a higher vision of what is possible for your world? Own your power and accept responsibility for your life and the lives of others. Show others the compassion you would like extended to you.
Common Ground does not mean everyone agrees with one another. It means you respect one another enough to see each other as souls, as hearts, as people struggling just as you do to get through each day with the responsibilities and challenges you all face as humans. It means to keep your heart open wide enough to be able to tolerate the discomfort of not being around people exactly like you and to look for what unites versus divides you. To be curious about what you have in common. To celebrate that and build from it.
Use your empathy and respect as building blocks to create a stronger foundation on which humanity can not only survive but flourish.
I hope the healing words of the Archangels bring you a feeling of hope and directed purpose as 2020 draws to a close.
Happy Holidays,
Maureen
