November is the month of Scorpio, the Alchemist. Scorpio is the one who scours the depths of the psyche to resurrect the dead and clear the debris. The Sun visits the Scorpio mansion each year from October 23–November 22.
Scorpio belongs to the element of Water and carries the energy of Deep, the volcanic, tumultuous depths and the force of Niagara Falls. Through the sign of Scorpio, we meet our sacral, creative center, notably called the Seat of the Soul. This is where the stirrings of Life begin.
As the ruler of the Body’s sacral chakra, Scorpio contains the roaring emotional waves of self-empowerment, sexual and creative desire. Yet, it is the center that speaks only energetic swirls and tides. There are no words, only passion, intensity and essence.
During the season of Scorpio, which is ruled by the planet Pluto, we collectively experience what it means to truly surrender to the external world, to let pass away the transience of time and to focus within to stoke our own passions.
Around the globe, Day of the Dead, Halloween and Samhain celebrations honor what has departed through inviting Earth and the unseen to mix energetically. This creates a new intimacy in which we no longer run from what Death exposes. There is the opportunity to align with what transforms through the passing of material into spirit.
If Scorpio energies are unbalanced and out of integrity, there is a tendency toward brooding jealousy, revenge and macabre fantasy. The unintegrated Scorpio energy may present as paranoid, jealous and deeply wounded.
Those with Scorpio traits might benefit from scheduled creative time, so the deeply moving waters of creative expression stay active and do not become putrid and stagnant. Regular sex play is also a creative plus (for everyone, but especially those with strong Scorpio characteristics)!
Each of us has Scorpio energy within our personal make-up, whether we were born during the time of Scorpio or not. We demonstrate Scorpio attributes through our individual Soul charts (our personal Astrology natal charts) and by our personal choices.

The Astro-Energy of November is about Preparing for a New Era. The entire year of 2020 has presented unprecedented roller coasters involving health, wealth, social contact and how we generally engage in the world. The dismantling of decrepit structures is taking place slowly, as new ways of Thinking and Expressing emerge in the global consciousness.
3 November: Mercury turns direct at 25° Libra. Mercury, the ruler of the Mind turns around in the sky just in time for the US elections. Mercury in Libra demands diplomacy, justice, balance and thoughtfulness with the theme of Beauty. Mercury is visiting the Libra mansion, ruled by the Goddess of Love, herself (Venus). However, if Mercury is unbalanced in Libra, there may be a tendency to focus on the Unlovely and the Unwanted. However, Sensitives and Creators know that the only way to Manifest positively is to focus on all positive possibilities. Bring a positive, clear mindset to the beginning of November.
12 November: Jupiter and Pluto join together at 23° Capricorn. “Every thirteen years or so, Jupiter brings … expansion and progress into union with the intense catharsis and empowerment of Pluto… [inviting] a deepening of growth, digging into the roots of circumstance to discover what truly matters 1 . Additionally, Astrologer Achuta Bhava (Adam Elenbaas, https://nightlightastrology.com/) states that Jupiter/Pluto alignments can see a resurgence of illness or decrepitude. Let’s all be safe.
15 November: New Moon 23° Scorpio. Delve deeply into your feelings, as your desire for emotionally-meaningful exchanges is heightened. Use your creative potential to create what makes your Heart sing. Rituals of empowerment and purification are encouraged. Venus in Libra squares Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn at this time. Hold onto your money. No frivolous or impulse purchases.
11–17 November: Each year during May and November, the Earth passes under the Pleiades, the Seven Cosmic Sisters. This is a time of spiritual renewal, especially for those humans who are actively working on Earth with the Pleiadians. Unity consciousness is a hallmark of Pleiadian influences.
21 November: The Sun enters the mansion of Sagittarius. We are called to move from the depths of the Sacral Center in our Creative Womb into exploration and renewal of our Higher Mind. The essential Truth is the cornerstone of the Sagittarius mansion.
30 November: Full Moon in 8° Gemini. Words are the most powerful weapons on Earth. Choose wisely, and think before you speak. This is a lunar eclipse, as well. Silence is the language of God. All else is poor translation (Rumi) 2 .
