A graphic novel charting the life of Irish poet Francis Ledwidge and his experiences leading up to and throughout 1916 and the First World War generally.
Developed by the Nerve Centre's Creative Centenaries project, the short story charts some of the experiences of the acclaimed poet who, as a nationalist, was one of the many Irishmen to fight for Britain during the First World War.
In printed form, the novel sits back to back with the story of Alice Milligan, the acclaimed Omagh born poet.
The comic book is just one of a number of resources being developed for the Creative Centenaries project, including other publications on the Easter Rising, Battle of the Somme and sinking of the Lusitania.
The novel has been designed with an education pack for use at a Key Stage Three audience with background information and interactive learning tasks designed around each story.
