The team members aren’t just employees, they’re neighbors. They volunteer at local schools, play in weekend golf tournaments, pitch in at the community center, and show up to support local events.
“We believe service should feel personal. So we’re here for customers when they need us,” said Anand Vadapalli, CEO and President of Lightcurve.
“They’ve done it all – from putting out fires (yes, really) to sending flowers to new parents. It’s all because they really care.”
Singleton shared a story in which one of the techs visited an elderly customer whose TV wasn’t compatible with the latest equipment. Instead of leaving them stuck, he went out, picked up a new TV, and set it up so they could stay connected to the world.
Another story came from a long-time customer who called to add caller ID. The company added the feature and updated her pricing. In the end, her monthly bill went down and she had the feature added. She asked to speak to the service rep’s supervisor to sing the rep’s praises saying, “It is wonderful to know companies like Lightcurve still exist!”
“That kind of care is what we strive for every day,” Singleton said.
The team is most proud when customers tell them it feels different to call Lightcurve. That they can actually reach a real person who cares and they feel that, at the end of the day, the business is about people, not just technology.
