Soror Edgerton serves as the Anti-Basileus for Omicron Eta chapter. She works diligently to grow and sustain membership of her chapter and build a strong interest base. Some accomplishments of Omicron Eta that makes Soror Edgerton especially proud include having the most community service hours within the D9 at UNCG 23-24 school year-a total of 250 hours! She is also proud to have completed a total of 10 chapter events thus far for Fall 2024, which consisted of a great turn out at each event with more to come in the month of November.
When asked what she wanted her legacy in Omicron Eta to be, Soror Edgerton said, “I want my legacy in OH to show that I made a difference within this chapter mainly when it comes to service, leadership, and chapter accomplishments. Being apart of this chapter thus far, I have been able to reach high volumes that I never thought I’d reach before and I know that my mark has been made. I want to demonstrate values to have within yourself as a young woman and as a leader, to those who join this chapter. Lasting connections is also something I’d like to implement and install for OH because there is no stronger bond than sisterhood and I believe that having these bonds with previous members, current members, and future members is extremely important and should always be remembered.”
Way to be Distinctly Notable, Soror Edgerton!

Winter Arc Tips
With 55 days remaining in 2024, there's still plenty of time to achieve your personal and professional goals while being intentional about your self-care. Here are seven tips to help you finish 2024 strong and start 2025 on a positive note.
Digital Detox
Whether it is 30 minutes each day or one full day each week, take a break from text messages, group chats, emails, social media, apps, and phone calls. This time away can help reduce stress, improve self-esteem/love and mental health, and create space for hobbies and activities that bring you joy outside a screen.
Prioritize Sleep/Rest
Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to support physical health, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
Step Outside Your Comfort Zone
"Change begins at the end of your comfort zone!- Roy T. Bennett" Instead of seeing discomfort as something to avoid, reframe it as an opportunity for growth. Embrace the idea that being uncomfortable is a sign that you ' re expanding your abilities and moving toward your goals.
Pamper Yourself
Treat yourself to a relaxing warm bath, face mask, spa day, or quiet time with a good book or favorite music or movie.
Practice Gratitude
Take a moment each day to reflect on things you are thankful for. Gratitude practices can improve your outlook and help reduce stress.
Focus on Consistency,
Not Perfection
Instead of striving for perfection, focus on consistent effort. Whether you are launching a new business, applying for a new job or graduate school, or starting a new project at work or school, small, consistent actions will lead to progress and eventual goal completion. Make your goals more manageable by breaking them down into smaller, actionable steps. This keeps you on track and prevents feeling overwhelmed by larger ambitions. Be patient with yourself, and do not let self-doubt or imposter syndrome hinder your progress.
Celebrate Your Progress
Acknowledge your achievements. Celebrate each step forward, no matter how small, as this helps you build momentum and encourages you to keep going.
