Meet the New Faculty & Staff

ANN BOYETTE, SPANISH

Ann Boyette joins the Markers as a new Spanish teacher, after having taught Spanish 1 in Rockwood School District for the past six and a half years. She is excited to teach another year, this time in a new high school setting.

JENNIFER CATON, LEARNING CONSULTANT

Jennifer Caton joins us as a new learning consultant. Prior to joining the Nerinx community, she was a learning consultant at Ursuline Academy. She says, “I am looking forward to being part of a community that empowers young women to embrace their differences and to chase their passions.”

JILL CLARK, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Jill Clark comes to Nerinx from Washington University where she served as director of executive communications for the chancellor. She has a wealth of experience working as a writer and storyteller for other educational institutions as well, including MICDS in St. Louis and her alma mater, Valparaiso University.

MARY DAVIS DUBOSE '07, DIRECTOR OF EQUITY & INCLUSION

Alumna Mary Dubose is happy to return to Nerinx as the Director of Equity & Inclusion. She was formerly Dean of Students/Assistant Principal at EAGLE College Prep in Tower Grove East. When it comes to being back in the halls, she says, “Nerinx and this community have never left my heart. I am really proud and happy to return!”

JOHN JAUSS, CHEMISTRY

John Jauss, our newest chemistry teacher, spent more than 20 years teaching in Parkway School District and also served as a chemistry consultant at a local

engineering firm. John says he is most excited about “the Nerinx community — the support, kindness, and respect shown for each and every girl, and the passion that the school shows for instilling leadership, confidence, and intellectualism in them.”

BRENDA NAHLIK, COMPUTER SCIENCE

An incoming Computer Science teacher, Brenda Nahlik comes to us from St. Monica School in Creve Coeur, where she taught middle school science, coding, and algebra. She says she can’t wait to help lead some fun coding and robotics activities at Nerinx that tie with students’ interests.

AMY ROITHER, ENGLISH

Amy Roither joins us as the newest member of the English department. Previously, she worked at Washington University in St. Louis’s Brown School of Social Work, Public Health, and Social Policy where she taught academic English to international graduate students, served as an academic advisor, and provided tutoring services. She says, “The Markers I know—both current students and alumnae—are remarkable women!”

SAMANTHA THOMAS, COUNSELING

Samantha Thomas, our newest academic and wellness counselor, comes to Nerinx from Kansas State University, where she served as the St. Louis Regional Admissions Representative. She says, “From the time I’ve already spent at Nerinx, I’ve been blown away by the amount of care, effort, and support that goes into making sure each young woman leaves Nerinx stronger than when she came in.”

KATIE HAGERTY YOUNG '96, SOCIAL STUDIES

A proud alumna, Katie Young is eager to walk the Nerinx hallways again, this time as a Social Studies teacher! Ms. Young has spent the past ten years raising her two daughters, though during that time she has had a hand in many opportunities—from lecturing at St. Louis Community College to teaching courses with St. Louis OASIS.

MARY JO TRIPI WELCH ’81

Mary Jo currently serves as director of finance and insurance at MobilityWorks. Previously, she worked at Enterprise Holdings, Inc. for 32 years. Mary Jo enjoys making a difference in her community. She served on her local school board as well as on the board of St. Louis Learning Disabilities. She advocates for several other local charities, including Marian Middle School. In addition to being a proud graduate of Nerinx, Mary Jo is the daughter of Nerinx graduate, Jovita Hamtil Tripi ’55, and proud mother of two Nerinx graduates, Nicole Welch ’15 and Sophie Welch ’19.

ALICIA SEIBEL KONSTANTINOVICH ’01

Alicia Konstantinovich ’01 currently serves as associate general counsel at the architecture firm HOK. Previously, she served as the business litigation group for the law firm Thompson Coburn, as a clerk for Judge Jean Hamilton with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and in insurance defense with the law firms Brown and James and Brinker and Doyen. Alicia holds a juris doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Rice University. She resides in Tower Grove South with husband Brandon and children Anna (8) and Eddie (5).
