National Kidney Foundation 2024 Walk
Thank you to everyone who donated and/or participated in the walk. It was a huge success!
Team NANI was joined by Harold Alexander (center)for the recent Kidney Walk. Harold’s journey with kidney disease began in 2016 when he was diagnosed with kidney failure and was told he might not live another year. However, in 2017, Harold transferred his care to NANI Physicians. Over the next six years, he received dedicated treatment from the NANI team.
In 2023, Harold's perseverance and the care he received paid off when he was matched for a kidney transplant. On April 23, 2023, Harold received his new kidney. Since then, he has been doing great and wanted to join Team NANI to help raise awareness for kidney disease.
Harold expressed profound gratitude for the NANI Physicians, crediting them for their exceptional care and support throughout his journey. This Kidney Walk was Harold’s first, and he was eager to share his story to inspire others and raise awareness about the importance of kidney disease treatment and transplantation.
