Welcome to ShuttleCork

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 10th annual ShuttleCork! It hardly seems possible that this amazing fundraiser is now 10 years old. What began as an evening of savoring fine wine to benefit the Nelson-Atkins has grown into a multi-day powerhouse fundraiser that is consistently named one of the top in Kansas City. And over the past decade, ShuttleCork has raised more than $10 million to further the mission of the Nelson-Atkins in assuring free admission to everyone who visits.

This evening of fine wine, sumptuous food, and world-class art would not be possible without the devotion of so many contributors. A special thanks to former co-chair (and co-founder) Paul DeBruce, and also former co-chair Greg Maday. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the museum is an inspiration.

We express our deep appreciation to our fabulous Corporate Sponsors, particularly Bank of America, which has generously been our Presenting Sponsor since ShuttleCork’s inception. Heartfelt thanks to our many committee members and numerous others who have diligently worked to ensure the success of this two-evening event. We are also grateful to the generous Winemaker Dinner hosts, past and present, who graciously invited guests into their lovely homes.
