Dear Prospective Home Buyers, My husband and I relocated from Kansas to Virginia for work a little over a year ago. We wanted to be away from the city, but close enough for an easy commute to Northern Virginia. We were lucky enough to find the perfect place.

Aside of the peaceful and relaxing setting, the first thing we noticed was how friendly, down-toearth, and helpful all our neighbors are. Everyone around us loves the location and takes pride in the up-keep of their property.

Much of our time at home is spent outside enjoying the beautiful view, taking in the fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature. As many have been working from home recently, I can’t imagine doing so in a better place. It’s just good for the soul.

Shortly after we moved in, one of our neighbors introduced us to the gem about a mile down the road, Powers Farm and Brewery. Though I’m not a fan of beer in general, my husband appreciates the fresh, agricultural-based varieties they offer. It’s a very quaint, relaxing place where the owners and employees call you by name. There are often great food trucks on site over the weekend that we frequent. The sense of community and the support for small, locally owned businesses is something I’ve never experienced before. It’s fantastic!

We are sad to leave such a great, comfortable home in the most welcoming neighborhood, but we are returning to Kansas to be with our families who we miss dearly. We will definitely miss the ‘little things’ the Village of Casanova has offered during our time here.
