Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Our family has lived in our home on Wavell Rd for the past 17 years, and it has been a wonderful experience. Retirement is now upon us, and we are going further south to be near family and care for aging parents, but well will miss our life here in NOVA. We were welcomed into this quiet cul-de-sac by friendly and social neighbors! Many of the neighbors are original owners, but in the past 5 years, several young families with children are moving in, and it is sweet to see the children playing in the cul-de-sac or out walking the neighborhood. Our own daughter went to Robinson HS, and we loved walking up for Friday night football games. This home has been great for hosting and entertaining. We have hosted women's retreats, family gatherings, youth groups, college students, and even 2 exchange students. Plenty of room to spread out. A great memory we love is having outdoor movie nights on the deck from our screen we hang from the pergola. Even though our small community of Waverly Woods is nestled into Kings Park West, we enjoy being a part of both communities. We love walking in KPW, to Royal Lake, to the local shops. It is comforting to see kids riding their bikes to the local pool in the summer and having them come by our Waverly Woods one-stop fire pit for trick-or-treating! We love the tight-knit community of Waverly Woods and the annual Super Bowl party and being a part of a lady's book club. While our community is tranquil and suburban, we are still close to everything. Although it's only a short distance away, there are many routes to Ft Belvoir, Springfield Metro, Vienna Metro, or Braddock Road to hit the beltway. There are so many new restaurants nearby; we can grab a quick Blizzard at DQ or Saturday morning doughnuts at Dunkin. It is only 3 minutes away for a lap around Target or Walmart as well. We enjoy patronizing the local small businesses and restaurants too. Really, so much in a 5-minute radius! I can't believe after 20 years in the military and moving every 2 years and then settling for the past 21 years here in NoVA and specifically the past 17 years here in our home on Wavell Rd, we are leaving. We have made so many wonderful memories and friends here. As we move to the Charlotte area, we hope to find a home and community as dear to us as this one has been. Sincerely,
