Dear Prospective Home Buyers, My family has lived in the home in Orange Hunt for the past 17 years and it has been a wonderful experience. If it weren't for a job that is transferring me out of the Northern Virginia area, we would stay through retirement. The neighborhood and home have been part of our family. It has been very hard to say goodbye. Our 3 children grew up here and have met life-long friends and even spouses, this will forever be part of our lives. Playing in the parks, taking dogs for walks, hosting neighborhood events, family barbecues on the deck, Christmas mornings by the fire and Thanksgiving in the dining room are memories we will cherish forever. The Orange Hunt community is spectacular and desired by many. It has great schools, community pool nearby grocery, restaurants and activities for all ages. Shopping, sports activities and school events are central to our area and being involved is as easy as desired. Our children enjoyed swim team, multiple sports programs through local clubs like Springfield Youth Club, Burke Basketball, and Braddock Road Youth Club. High school events are just down the road for your enjoyment. But just enjoying time in this beautiful and friendly neighborhood was a special time for all. While our community feels very quiet and suburban, we are still close lo everything. We have used all the different modes of transportation (Metro Bus, VRE, Metro Rail and Driving) and all are equally convenient, depending on your desires. Getting to events in Downtown DC like the theatre, Washington Nationals or Capitols was a norm for us, being close to DC with a far-away feel. We are really going to miss our home in Orange Hunt. It has been filled with so many joyous memories and friends that we will never forget. As we move on, we will never forget our warm and loving home on Reynard Drive.
