FROM THE OWNER Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Our family has lived in the apartment on Newark St NW for the past 5 years, and it has been an amazing experience. If it weren't for our expanding family, we would stay for 5 more years.

This open and friendly community has been a joy to be part of. We have enjoyed close friendships with our neighbors within the building, meeting regularly for dinners, and taking care of each other's apartments during vacations. While tending our community garden plot across the road we've enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow gardeners, many of whom live in the neighborhood.

Our experience in the neighborhood is that of a peaceful oasis within a busy city. At the end of a stressful workday, it is always a relief to get home and head out into the surrounding green spaces to walk the dog, take to the trails less than two minutes from our door, or have a picnic and relax in the Cathedral Gardens. We have been blessed to have our church within easy walking distance.

While our community feels very quiet and suburban, we are still close to everything.

We have loved how accessible city entertainments are from Newark St, with a wide variety of culinary options and a regular Friday night block party on nearby Wisconsin St. during the summer. We are going to miss being able to walk to our favorite restaurant sorely - Two Amy's and having such accessible metro and bus access to DC nightlife.

We also commute in different directions to Silver Spring and Arlington) with easy drives in each direction.

We are really going to miss our home in McLean Gardens. It has been filled with so many joyous memories and friends that we will never forget. As we move out of the District, we will always remember our warm and loving home on Newark St. Sincerely,
