FROM THE OWNER Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Thank you for your interest in 227 N Edgewood Street, as it has been our home of 3 ½ years.

Our family has lived in Arlington for 13 years and 2020 marks our 8 th year in Lyon Park. We got our start in a class “old Arlington” A-frame on 4th Street in 2012 and since 2016, we’ve loved 227 Edgewood and the wonderful neighbors and friends that joined us for many parties, birthdays and BBQ’s. We are thrilled that our new home is only a few streets away!

Our family will always stay in Lyon Park!

We are nostalgic to leave Edgewood St. This home gave us a place to play with our children, a wonderful property for all-ages gatherings and a fun & quiet community only a few miles from incredible employment and economic opportunity. The ease of commuting in Lyon Park is phenomenal. We’re proud that we became a one-car family because of the great proximity to work, entertainment and public transit.

One particular thing we enjoyed is the unique shape of the yard. Whether it’s a neighborhood gathering or just day-to-day enjoyment, we’ve seen that there are several distinct places for fun on this property. The backyard and patio was host to swings and scooters and sidewalk chalk at times and at others it was drinks, music, and fun for the adults. It’s similar with the side yard, porch, and deck – the spaces are very versatile. As for the interior, the design for living space, storage, and openness is a smart layout that allows for five bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen and finished basement. The home has been wonderful for us as our family grew.

As our family needs have changed we are reluctantly moving on but we are excited for 227 Edgewood to be a wonderful and unique home for another family - that we hope will fall in love with the home and Lyon Park as a whole.

PS - See you at the Lyon Park spring fair, the food truck party, breakfast with Santa, and so many other events hosted 2 blocks away at Lyon Park!
