Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Our family of four has lived in our home on the Little Ann Court cul-de-sac for almost 9 years. It was "the right place at the right time" when we moved here from a townhome in Springfield's Saratoga area for our two small children and us. As parents, we valued the Orange Hunt neighborhood because it is in the West Springfield High School pyramid. Still, we were also gratified to learn that our kids naturally felt comfortable roaming the cul-de-sac and our open yard, which was not true at our previous residence. Having a home that allowed our children to grow up riding bikes in a safe, quiet neighborhood and playing outside has been a gift in this metropolitan area. Nature is one of the neighbors here on Little Ann Court. The east-facing windows in the "sunroom" bring in the morning rays, and the wood floors in the foyer, stairs, dining room, and living room radiate at dusk. Occasionally, at breakfast, we'll see a fox across the way, or a deer appear at the edge of the woods. The bird feeder is well attended, and the garden produces full-sun vegetables like zucchini and green beans. Our community is quiet and suburban, and we have enjoyed having space for our family and entertaining family and friends. The den flows easily onto the deck and backyard, where children can play as adults visit. The basement provides a great "rec room" for multiple uses. And when you venture out, you will find this neighborhood is close to everything! The Pohick Regional Library is within walking distance, as is Orange Hunt Elementary School and the Orange Hunt Pool. Three other pools are within a short bike ride away. We have our choice of three grocery stores and the cheapest gas in this zip code, plus South Run Recreation Center and lots of side roads on which to enjoy a bike ride that will take you all the way to Burke Lake Park while crossing only one busy road (with a crosswalk and crossing signal). A variety of shopping and dining options in Burke and Springfield is a 10-minute drive in any direction. Now we find ourselves with teens and in a new season of life -retirement. We are moving to an even slower pace of life --Bedford County, VA, this summer. We have loved our home on Little Ann Court.
