FROM THE OWNER Dear Buyer, When we purchased this custom built beautiful green home at 7730 Lee Ave. we considered it our forever home. We had never imagined moving into a brand new 5 bedroom house complete with Victorian turret rooms and a wrap-around porch.

We’ve loved our time here and have fostered many amazing memories of entertaining with late nights out on the front porch deep in conversation, walks around the neighborhood, and sitting by the fire out back.

We never even fathomed moving. However, God had different plans. Through a number of complicated circumstances involving the death of my father, we are renovating and moving into the 70 year old house that I grew up in. Sadly, even the most lavish renovations won’t match the finish, design and features of the house we are leaving.

We have loved living on Lee Ave with proximity to the GW parkway, Mt Vernon bike path, many close parks, excellent schools and Hollin Hall with the Village hardware, Variety store, Pastry shop. We’ll miss all the friendly neighbors. We have raised 5 children here and have had many special memories.

Whether enjoying a summer thunderstorm on the front porch, a lively barbecue on the back patio, or a quiet evening playing games by the fire, we have a multitude of precious memories that will always give us fond feelings of our time on Lee Ave. There has been much laughter and love. Moving will definitely be bittersweet as we enter a new chapter of our lives. We know that these fond times will continue with your family.
