FROM THE OWNER

Dear Prospective Home Buyer, We have lived at 9119 Lake Braddock Drive for the past 24 years. We moved to this area intentionally because of the schools for our children. We are now leaving with many mixed emotions as we are retiring out of the area – the beach beckons. This house has hosted many events with family and friends and is leaving us with many memories that we will hold on to for years to come. Playing basketball on the backyard court, swimming, barbecuing or simply hanging out on the deck are some of the many activities we have enjoyed. Thanksgiving and Christmas with family, which now includes grandchildren, are some of the fun times this home has shared with us. The neighborhood and community is very safe, and as avid outdoor people, bikers and walkers, it has provided a wonderful environment and opportunity to partake in all the outdoors has to offer. This includes neighborhood parks, paths and access to Accotink Trail. And, there is Lake Braddock literally up the street with a fabulous trail around the lake. We have seen many a dog enjoy this neighborhood as well. For those who need to commute somewhere within the metro area, this location has really good access to 395, 495, and the Fairfax County Parkway. Also, the metro and VRE are close by. While our community feels quiet and suburban, we are still close to everything – shops, restaurants, malls – all only a couple miles away. Nearby George Mason University hosts many entertainment events at Eagle Bank Arena – comedians, sports, singers, theatre, national and international acts are just some of the options that are showcased there. This has been a great place to raise children and hard to imagine a better place for a family to live in the metro area. We hope the next family enjoys the rich environment this home can offer.
