FROM THE OWNER Dear Prospective Home Buyer, My home has been in my family for almost 35 years. I have lived in this home for almost 11 years. I bought it from my parents when I transferred to the DC Metropolitan area for my job. My parents were the original owners and moved here after my dad retired from the US Army. It is not easy for me to sell this house because it holds so many memories. My grandchildren are in the Dallas, Texas area and my granddaughter has been begging Grammy to move closer. It is time for new memories. This house has seen 5 generations of my family gather at different times for family Christmas, weddings, birthdays, Thanksgivings, etc. We have shared great times, as well as some tears together, in other words we have experienced life here in our home. I have fond memories of my grandmother doling out advice in the kitchen; my dad conducting business in his office; my nieces swimming in a kiddie pool on the back deck; my son bringing his future wife to meet me for the first time; and my cooking/serving Thanksgiving dinner for 34 family members a couple of years ago. The Daventry Community is not just any sub-division, it is a much sought after neighborhood because it offers a wide variety of activities. It is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Franconia/Springfield Metro station. It is very easy to get as involved as you want to be in the community.
