Dear Prospective Home Buyer, We welcome you to our home where we have grown as a family in this home. We raised our kids here and have created lots of memories and traditions in this community where neighbors know each other.

We have enjoyed lots of fun with parties with our neighborhood friends throughout the year: -

Women’s monthly book club Annual neighborhood crab feast St Patrick’s Day Party November Cocktail Party Octoberfest

The neighborhood is safe for walking pets, kids to school or for exercise. You will see lots partaking.

We certainly enjoyed using the hot tub daily, usually in the evening. Relaxing under the stars (or snowflakes) has been a practice that has bonded us in our marriage for 37 years. A time to connect and share our day with each other.

Shooting hoops in the driveway, family barbecues on the deck, Christmas morning by the fire and Thanksgiving in the dining room are memories we will cherish forever.

Rolling Valley is a true community where neighbors know each other and look out for one another.

Our kids and their friends grew up together, from the elementary school around the corner to the high school just up the road. In hosting events, folks of all ages would gather and inevitably some would walk up to the school or park to play on the playground, or play basketball, football, soccer, tennis, or even enjoy a swim at the local pool at the end of our street.

Everyone’s favorite activity has been the annual crab feast, a neighborhood block party over Labor Day to celebrate the end of summer.

While our community is quiet, tree-lined and conveniently close to a plethora of shopping, dining and fun activities. Many folks use the commuter lot (within walking distance) to slug or catch the bus to Metro, the Pentagon or DC quickly and easily.

We are really going to miss our home in Rolling Valley. It has been filled with so many joyous memories and neighborhood friends we will never forget. As we move to Florida, we will never forget our warm and loving home on Gillings Road.
