Dear Prospective Home Buyers, Our family’s first house was here on Edgewood and we loved every minute of living in this home. Being in the military means we have to move frequently and it is time for us to sell our home. At this house, our family grew in size and to accommodate this we expanded the home to make it more comfortable for us. Having enough space in the backyard for a playground was amazing for our kids. The access to community activities was one of the things we loved most about living at this home. Whether it was a day at the adventure park, botanical garden, walk to the park, an afternoon at the National Health Museum, or a morning at the Farmer’s Market. There are plenty of seasonal events as well such as the Lights Festival at the Temple down the street. In the springtime, the Azalea lined driveway, flowering dogwood tree, fragrant honeysuckle vines, and large purple irises blooming in the front garden bed were always a delight to arrive home to after a long day at work. The neighborhood is quiet and full of friendly people with a mix of young families and those who have lived in the neighborhood for decades. I had a short commute to Bethesda which was less than 10 minutes by car and on most nice days I would ride my bicycle there in less than 20 minutes. The variety of shopping and dining is amazing. My family loved going to one of the locally owned grocery stores as we would always converse with the owners and they always had treats for the kids. The variety of locally owned restaurants with Italian, Peruvian, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, and brick oven pizza left us with endless options. We are truly going to miss living in this house. It was a time filled with so many wonderful memories that we will cherish. We will never forget our time at this home.
