LETTER FROM THE OWNER
Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Hello! Tony and I moved to our beautiful home in April of 2017. We moved to Virginia from Hawaii and knew that Vienna would be where we would purchase a house. We saw many ready to move in homes in Vienna, but although the houses in itself were beautiful, none of them really felt like “home”. We believe that when you purchase a home, you purchase the neighborhood as well, so we didn’t settle for a house until we felt a connection to the house and the neighborhood. 1820 Abbey Oak Drive was actually one of the first homes we saw. We immediately felt a connection to the neighborhood and thought it was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, the house had a lot of much needed updating, so we declined because we weren’t sure we were ready to take on a renovation project. After several weeks of viewing homes, however, we decided to see if 1820 Abbey Oak Drive was still available and decided to take a look at it again. As soon as we drove into the beautiful neighborhood estate of Clark’s Crossings, we realized that no other area in Vienna compared to this highly sought-out and desirable neighborhood. In fact, to this day, when I tell people I live in Clark’s Crossings near Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, I always get the same response, “Oh, that area is beautiful!”, or “Wow! You are so fortunate to live there!” It was clear to Tony and I that we needed to purchase this house because you can always remodel your home, but you can’t remodel your neighborhood. Tony and I have lived in some beautiful places, including Hawaii, but we both agree that this is probably the prettiest neighborhood we will ever live in. Whether we walk on the W & OD Trail to Whole Foods or the Brewery, walk through the many trails available in the area, or take a short bike ride to Reston Town Center for lunch, we have never regretted our decision to move here. We have decided to move to California to be closer to our family, especially our children. As difficult as it will be to move, we are excited to start a new chapter in our lives. We are confident that the family that moves into our home will feel the love and care we have put into our home. And now the next homeowners of 1820 Abbey Oak Drive will be able to attain their house of their dreams in the neighborhood of their dreams as well! Blessings,
