Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Thank-you for visiting 2502 4th Street, where we lived for almost 5 years and where our family got our start!

We met in Arlington and this was our first home together. We were attracted to Lyon Park because it mimicked Jesse’s favorite features of her Pennsylvania hometown: a home on a quiet street and was still a short walk to restaurants and fun. Quiet homes just a walk from Main Street charm might be the norm in Pennsylvania towns but they are a rare find in Northern Virginia! When we saw this home in Lyon Park, we fell in love with it.

We are thrilled to say we are staying in Lyon Park just 6 blocks away! We absolutely couldn’t leave, with our wonderful neighbors and friends that joined us for many parties and birthdays and BBQs in the 4th street backyard. Our family will always stay in Lyon Park!

4th street gave us a backyard to play with our children, a wonderful property for all-ages gatherings, and a fun & quiet community only blocks from incredible employment and economic opportunity. The ease of commuting in Lyon Park is fantastic. We’re proud that when we started at 4th Street, we quickly became a one-car family because of the great proximity to work, entertainment and public transit.

One particular thing we enjoyed at 4th Street was the way we opened up the inside to convert a downstairs bedroom to a dining space, making the deck, dining, and kitchen better connected. Sure enough, removing one wall and adding a French door made such a difference. 4th Street’s next family can enjoy that feature or easily have the wall added to return to the original floorplan with two downstairs bedrooms. We are sure the next owner’s of 2502 4th Street will fall in love with the home and Lyon Park as a whole just like we did.
