For forty years, NELA has been a bulwark against powerful, influential, and well-resourced employers who strip workers of their right to a safe and just workplace. We have changed the landscape of employment law, protecting and expanding the rights of all workers and championing justice regardless of the political environment.

Now, as attacks on workers’ rights intensify to an unprecedented scale, NELA is more vital than ever, and we are fighting back.

ƒ Providing training, tools, and resources to attorneys representing federal employees, LGBTQ+ workers, immigrant workers, and others targeted by harmful and illegal actions

ƒ Offering complimentary briefings to help attorneys navigate the challenging and rapidly evolving landscape

Filling the Enforcement Gap Left by Anti-Worker Policies

ƒ Leveraging our members’ collective expertise to address damaging policies emerging from DOL, EEOC, and NLRB

ƒ Strengthening advocacy for workers experiencing wage and hour violations

ƒ Harnessing our Amicus Program to influence critical employment and civil rights cases

ƒ Creating new public resources to connect targeted workers with NELA advocates

We invite you to invest in NELA by sponsoring our 40th Anniversary Gala, which will take place during our 2025 Annual Convention in Baltimore, Empower. Reclaim. Transform. Whether or not you can join us in person, your support will fuel our national community as wefight for workers—together, as always.

The theme for our 40th Anniversary Gala is Party Like It’s 1985! It will take place on Friday evening, June 27 (8 to 11 p.m.). We will gather after dinner (on your own) for a well-earned night of fun and friendship with music and dancing. Come dressed in your 80s attire or come as you are.

Please note that the Gala is a separate ticketed event, not included in Convention registration. We will provide sweet and savory snacks. Each Gala attendee will receive two complimentary drinktickets, courtesy of Dundon Advisers LLC.

Individual tickets are also available for $125 each or $100 for government, legal services, and public interest attorneys.
