To all Pastors, Elders and Members -North East Jamaica Conference
Dear Pastor, Elders and Members,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We trust that you have returned from our Elders’ Convention at Camp Don, Robin’s Bay, spiritually refreshed, encouraged, and empowered for the work of ministry. It was truly a blessing to share in fellowship and training with you from February 7-9, 2025. Your presence, participation, and commitment to the cause of Christ were deeply appreciated, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for making the time to be there.
As we press forward in our mission, I want to encourage every Elder to continue working diligently in preparing at least one candidate for the IAD Elders' Baptism on February 22, 2025
This is a significant opportunity for us to expand the Kingdom of God through intentional discipleship. Kindly ensure that your names are submitted by your Pastor to the Conference Office by Monday, February 17, 2025, for those who will be doing the rite of baptism. Your Pastor will organize the main site for baptism in your district. Let us labor faithfully, trusting that the Lord will bless our efforts abundantly
Additionally, February 15, 2025, has been designated as Elders' Recognition Day, a special occasion to honour and acknowledge the invaluable service of our Elders within the local churches. We encourage congregations to take this time to express their gratitude for the leadership, sacrifice, and dedication of those who serve among us. However, for those churches that may not be able to observe this on February 15, an alternate date of February 22, 2025, has been provided.
May the Lord continue to strengthen, guide, and equip you for the work ahead. Thank you once again for your unwavering commitment to ministry Let us remain faithful, knowing that our labour in the Lord is never in vain.
