Warmest Christian greetings to you all.
It is with great joy and a delightful heart that I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour and soon coming King. You are invited to our quarterly personal ministry and evangelism meeting scheduled for St Mary on April 21,2024 at Port Maria SDA and for Portland May 5, 2024 at Port Antonio SDA Starting time 9 am .
This meeting is geared towards equipping and strengthening our lay workers with the necessary skills needed for this time. Impactful presentations will be done by representatives from our local conference and the Jamaica Union Conference.
Special invitation is given to all the members who started the lay worker training in December 2023, as there will be a conclusion and certification of the training.
Personal ministry leaders , please be prepared to share at least one activity your church has plan for the ALL THE FAMILY IN MISSION initiative. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the mission.

TITHING PRINCIPLES
13. The Bible and the Spirit of prophecy clearly define temporal and spiritual blessings resulting from faithful stewardship.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8.
Deuteronomy 28:1-13; Malachi 3:10-12; 2 Corinthians 9:8-11. “Whenever God’s people, in any period of the world, have cheer- fully and willingly carried out His plan in systematic benevolence and in gifts and offerings, they have realized the standing promise that prosperity should attend all their labors just in proportion as they obeyed His requirements.” Counsels on Stewardship, 347. “...The [14] spiritual health and prosperity of the church is dependent in a great degree on her systematic benevolence. It is like the life blood which must flow through the whole being, vitalizing every member of the body...” Testimonies for the Church 3:405.

Dear Leaders
Greetings in the name of Jesus our soon coming king. Commendations to all our Family Ministries Directors for giving leadership to the department. Our Couples convention was a great success thanks to all those who attended, participated, and were certified.
Our Singles Convention which was scheduled for the 27th of April 2024 unfortunately had to be postponed to facilitate the Jamaica Union’s Sabbath School Congress which will be held on Sabbath the 27 2024 at the Port Maria SDA church. However, the National Singles convention and retreat will be held on the 26th -28th of July 2024 at the Israel Campsite and Convention Centre formerly Jamaica Crest Resorts in Fairy Hill Port Antonio.
This is a joint venture between the Jamaica Union Family Ministries Department and the local Conferences. We are kindly requesting for each church to sponsor two singles to this event. The cost of accommodation and meals is 12000 dollars.
Our guest speaker is: Pastor Noah Washington the lead Pastor of the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church in Columbus Ohio. Pastor Washington is a dynamic preacher, family Counsellor, and a passionate disciple of Christ.
Special features for National Singles Retreat 2024 include; spiritual inspiration, beautiful music, delicious meals, a Saturday night banquet, Winifred’s beach trip, and much more.
All funds for the national singles convention and retreat should be sent with names of persons to the North East Jamaica Conference no later than Friday, June 21, 2024.
