Our 22-acre campus in the heart of San Antonio is packed with exciting adventures designed to challenge, inspire, and empower. Conquer your fears on our rappel tower featuring 25-foot and 50-foot rappel walls and a 36-foot rock wall. Foster teamwork, enhance communication skills and improve problem-solving skills or just have fun on our 20-obstacle confidence course, low ropes course or leadership reaction course.
Camp Henson, the premier JROTC training and competition facility at North East Independent School District, is proud to serve thousands of cadets from across an eight-state region. As the home of the 5th Brigade, U.S. Army Cadet Command JROTC Raider Championships and other regional competitions, we offer a high-energy environment where cadets can showcase their skills, build physical and emotional resilience and foster life-long friends and memories.

Elite Recognition & Branding: Sponsor’s name, logo and sponsorship rank will be prominently displayed on our prestigious "Elite Sponsors Wall" at the camp entrance. Sponsors are also eligible, dependent upon sponsorship level, to place organizational branding on an entire course, specific obstacles, or display of an organizational flag or signage facing Wurzbach Parkway.
Exclusive Training: Your guests, subject to limitations and sponsorship level, will receive complimentary training on our rappel tower or other activities.
Camp Henson is host to several regional JROTC Raider competitions and the annual 5th Brigade Raider championships annually. All raider competitions draw as many as 50 schools, 500-700 cadets and 800-1200 parents. Please Note: event sponsorship is not exclusive. Multiple organizations may serve as an event sponsor.
