n March 19th, students at the West Islip High School enrolled in the American Sign Language dual-credit Adelphi College course hosted a fundraiser event to benefit the deaf community. As part of their Volunteerism Unit, students chose to donate the proceeds from ASL Idol to The American Society for Deaf Children. A total of $3,267 was raised. Congratulations to all who participated in this effort.
