embers of the West Islip Girls Winter Track team broke three school records this past season. Brittany Blindenhofer broke the school’s 55-meter record at the state qualifying meet with a time of 7.50 (previous record was 7.59). Meghan Bevan broke the school’s 1500-meter race walk record by 38 seconds with a time of 7:38. Brooke Catalano ran the 600-meter run in 1:43, breaking the old record of 1:44.
